About Us

This ministry began in April of 2022 with 19 devout and energetic individuals, to date we consist of 29 members.  Coupled with this substantial growth of members, monetary donations have been significant; through these two things, we believe the Holy Spirit is propelling us forward to persist in this ministry, and to be more committed than ever.

Our ministry consists of both business meetings, and formation nights where all are welcome.  Business meetings are always on the first Thursday of the month, 6:00 PM, in Hoffmann Hall.  A holy day, or availability of a guest speaker might prevent our aim to have formation on the first Thursday of a month. All are welcome!

Mission Statement:

Respect Life of Antigo affirms the Church’s teaching that life begins at conception and ends at natural death, that all of life is sacred, and every life matters.

Objectives:

  • We are dedicated to promoting a culture that honors life, cherishes children, encourages families, uplifts the sanctity of marriage, and building community.
  • We will strive to offer educational, emotional, and spiritual support to parishioners and our community.
  • Through fundraising events, we will offer financial support to charities who share in our common goals.

Volunteers

Volunteers participate in a variety of ways.  Sub-committees are developed for the purpose of planning presentations, fundraisers, hospitality, etc.  Others simply provide desserts for guest speaker events, help with creating awareness by stuffing bulletins, setting up resource tables for our Pro-Life Speaker event, or passing out “Precious Feet” pins after masses on Respect Life Sunday - among other things.  There are many ways to get involved!
